About the event
Some of the most memorable meals aren't the most elaborate—they're the ones made with love.
When my mother became too ill to cook, my father stepped into the kitchen. By then, he was losing his eyesight, so complicated recipes were no longer possible. Instead, he made this simple pasta again and again: spaghetti tossed with ripe garden tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and extra-virgin olive oil.
It was humble. It was fresh. It was comforting. And it became one of the greatest expressions of love I've ever witnessed.
This special is our tribute to them—and a reminder that the simplest ingredients often create the most meaningful meals. This spaghetti dish is what we are offering as our pasta special on July 21. Each portion is $11 and it must be pre-ordered by Monday night by sending a RSVP.
