About the event

A plate of perfectly cooked spaghetti coated in a vibrant tomato sauce that's alive with the punch of garlic, the fruity richness of olive oil, the briny snap of capers and black olives, and the savory intensity of anchovies, which melt into the sauce rather than stand out as fish. A touch of chili gives gentle heat, while parsley adds freshness. The result is a sauce that's complex yet light enough to cling to the pasta without overwhelming it.

Despite its reputation as a robust, rustic pasta, a well-made Neapolitan puttanesca is surprisingly balanced. No single ingredient dominates: the anchovies disappear into the sauce, the olives and capers provide bursts of flavor, the tomatoes tie everything together, and the chili gently lingers. It tastes unmistakably Mediterranean—simple ingredients transformed into something vivid, aromatic, and deeply satisfying.
